Guitar, Bass, and Contemporary Band Tutor

Fraser High School is seeking to appoint a Music Itinerant tutor commencing Term 1, 2022.  

This position is for 10 hours 25 mins a week.

The applicant will need to have the following attributes:

• Experienced in teaching Guitar and Bass

• Experienced in multiple instrument tuition 

• Able to form highly functional relationships with staff and students

• Experience with NCEA performance standards

• Willingness to teach a range of performance repertoire

• Willingness to attend performance outside of normal teaching hours to support their students' performances

• Ability to source a range of music both score/backing track and make accessible these resources to students

• Experience in working with high school age students

• Experience in tutoring musical performance in groups and individually with a wide range of instruments in contemporary
