We are seeking a Permanent Part-time experienced guidance counsellor to work each Friday in term time only.  You will be required to provide targeted counselling and engage with wider networks to provide wrap around services to benefit our young women.

A commitment to our culture of care and the Special Character of the school is essential.  The successful applicant will work with our Deputy Principal responsible for Pastoral Care and be part of our College’s Pastoral Care team including a part-time guidance counsellor, school nurse, physiotherapist, cultural liaison teachers and our dean’s team.

Commencement date is Friday, 15 August (or by negotiation) and you would be responsible for counselling students from Yr 7-Yr13.

The ideal applicant must be a NZ Registered and certified teacher and hold NZAC membership (or working towards membership).   You will also have the following attributes:

• Exceptional organizational skills
• The ability to build relationships quickly
• Highly collaborative for working in a team
• Professionalism judgement and confidentiality
• Familiar with Microsoft would be an advantage.
