Permanent, full time position

We seek a skilled and motivated curriculum leader who is:

• Has relevant knowledge/maatauranga in leading and teaching the New Zealand Geography Curriculum
• Specific responsibilities include leadership of the Geography courses at Levels 1, 2 and 3 
• Is passionate about leading the planning and implementation of the 2024 NCEA Geography curriculum realignment. 
• Is able to lead a small team of staff and is willing to work collaboratively with other teachers
• Enthusiastic about teaching and learning and serving the needs of our diverse community 
• A team player and supportive of our school values; Respect, Excellence, Whanaungatanga and Akoranga 
• Experience in leading digital inquiry learning which includes local context at junior level Social Studies 
• Committed to the school’s restorative and culturally sustaining practices
