Westlake Boys High School is looking to appoint a proficient Mandarin speaker to join our caring International Department team. Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement. This is a Term Time Only position. 

Start: As soon as possible
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am – 3:30pm
Applications close: Monday 24th March at 9am

The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes or skills:

• The ability to relate to teenagers from all cultures
• The ability to work both independently and as a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills – verbal and written
• Initiative, planning & organisational skills
• Ability to multitask and thrive on working efficiently
• Have strong administrative skills
• A can-do attitude and a sense of urgency to ensure you meet specified timeframes
• Have experience working within an international department not necessary but an advantage 
• Full drivers’ licence 

You must be eligible to work in New Zealand to apply for this position. Appointment and commencement is subject to a satisfactory police vet.
