Westlake Boys High School has a large Mathematics Faculty looking to employ a mathematics teacher with calculus to teach a mixed range of mathematical ability students. General mathematics and numeracy is the focus in the junior school ensuring students have a foundation for their senior years where they are given the option to specialise (Y12 and Y13).

Start date: 7 August 2023

• NCEA and Scholarship calculus experience an advantage
• Must be a team player.

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the Secondary Teacher's Collective Agreement (STCA) www.ppta.org.nz/collective-agreements/secondary-teachers-collective-agreement-stca/. The base salary for trained and registered teachers currently ranges from $51,358.00 to $90,000.00, depending on the applicant’s qualifications and experience.

Individuals’ actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment by Education Payroll once a role is confirmed.
