JOB DESCRIPTION MUSIC TEACHER REPORTS TO: Principal JOB GOALS: To provide a comprehensive knowledge of music through performance, creation, and description. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide skilled music or voice instruction to students Creating & implementing the music program for all grade levels Prepare lessons that reflect & accommodate all individual learner Instruct students in the technical aspects of music, conduct rehearsals, and evaluate student performance Take students on field trips to musical presentations Deliver the curriculum, adhering to school policies and curricular documents Maintain the management of children's behavior in line with school policy Record children's progress, attainment and achievement in line with school assessment policy EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university Music Major preferred MA Department of Education Certification required
