Rutherford College has a part-time, fixed-term position available for a teacher aide who is bilingual in Dari to work within our mainstream school. You will be joining the LEAP (Learning Enhancement and Accelerate Programme), therefore the ability to work well within a team is essential. 

This role is for 25 hours per week, with hours to be determined between 8:30am to 3:10pm Monday to Friday, during school term time only. This is a fixed-term position due to specific funding attached to this role. The start date for this position is as soon as possible and the fixed term end date would be 12 December 2024.

The successful applicant will be flexible, computer literate, patient, and have an interest in working with teenagers. 

Excellent literacy and numeracy skills are essential. The ability to assist as Reader/Writer for students during NCEA Examinations and Internal Assessments is a definite advantage.
