Rutherford College is seeking an innovative, enthusiastic, and skilled Technology Teacher to join our dedicated team.

What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking a teacher who:

• Has expertise and teaching experience in hospitality (food technology) and Fashion Design at the secondary school level (Years 9–13
  Can create engaging, practical lessons that bring curriculum content to life.
  Understands the New Zealand Curriculum and NCEA assessment frameworks.
  Promotes a safe, inclusive, and creative learning environment.
  Values student wellbeing, positive relationships, and high expectations.
  Works collaboratively with colleagues and contributes to the wider school culture.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Current New Zealand Teaching Council registration.

• Relevant teaching qualification(s).

• Experience teaching NCEA Level 1–3 Hospitality and Fashion Design preferred.

• A clear passion for practical learning and student achievement.
